The annual NSL Challenge Cup sees the top 4 teams of each grade (based on the NSL final league standings) compete in a knock-out format to cap off a season of weekly inter-club matches.

The 2009 NSL (National Squash League) Challenge Cup took place over the past week at the Kallang Squash and Tennis Centre. The top 4 teams from each grade played-off in an annual tradition that was nothing short of exciting action and energy. The finals on Saturday saw a packed audience in the Centre Court, with the gallery almost filled to a full-house midway through the matches. In the Men's A Grade, SCC survived Tanglin's onslaught to squeeze out an eventual defending victory by a margin so close that it kept the home crowd perpetually on their toes all afternoon. Meanwhile in the other courts, SCC edged UCSC 3-1 in the Men's B; UCSC beat New Pioneers in Men's C; and the Police Sports Association swept the Men's D, E and F grades with some hard-fought matches against UCSC, Singapore Schools and New Pioneers respectively. The finals for Men's Vet 2, Ladies Div 1 and Ladies Div 2 took place a day before on Friday, with SAFRA Team 1 over Singapore Swimming Club, Singapore Schools over SAFRA, and Singapore Schools over SCC respectively.
